I am so proud of little Denver, one of my tiny little BieChi pups. I feel so proud of my pups when I hear that they are helping people....

SedgysMiniMe Denver : Therapet BieChi

Seasons Greetings Jan I see you are still very busy with your pups and hope everything is going well for you.
Denver continues to delight me and everyone he meets. His weight is 1.55 kilos so he is still a tiny wee thing.
Long story short. I met a woman in a pet shop who I got chatting to whilst she petted Denver. It turned out she is the CEO of 'Therapets' and I'm proud to say Denver and I are now registered with the Charity to visit care homes etc. Unfortunately they don't make a tabard small enough to fit him so we are making do with a lead flash.
It will come as no surprise to you that he is perfect for the role as he is so fearless, affectionate and outgoing. He had no problem with his assessment involving taking a treat nicely, not reacting to noise, having his paws touched and of course his friendly demeanor.
We have just made our first, supervised visit to a local care home and will be visiting every 2 weeks in future.
He was a big hit with the staff and residents and it felt really good to be showing him off and making people smile.
Our supervisor was impressed that he paid no attention to wheelchairs and went straight up to people on his own accord.
In future we hope to be participating in the Therapet corporate events which could include visiting establishments when students are taking exams and need to be destressed by playing with friendly dogs. I'm so proud of him and looking forward to our future adventures.
Best wishes Dorothy and Denver
