This minute in time was a devastating moment. The moment we had to say goodbye to our beloved Rick.
He was our Star, The Main Man, Master of his Trade, Our star Stud.

Old age got the better of you big man. We will never ever forget you and you will always remain in our hearts. I am blessed that you gave me the opportunity to be with you until your last breath, your first step onto the Rainbow ladder of foreverness....

Play wild and free Rick, I know that you will always be with us, as we will you 🐾

People often come to me for a new puppy after having gone through the devastating loss of their own beloved dog.  I feel their pain, I have gone through it many times over the years, but each time, it is always as painful, always raw, devastating, and it stops you in your tracks as if nothing else matters.  I know exactly how you feel and I know exactly what emotions you are feeling. After the loss of one of our own, it always makes me question why I do what I do, how can I put myself through the pain time after time, as all of my dogs have to get old at some point and then leave us. But through the pain and tears and heartache, I look back and see what a difference they have made to so many people. Their offspring have gone on to help ease the pain of so many who have suffered the loss of their beloved pet, their pups go on to create new memories and adventures and love and joy with their new families. The legacy of my darling man is long lasting in all of his pups, and I know that the life of my own beloved dog has created that joy, and it will help me to pull through the pain of my loss. x
